Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a type of gentle massage intended to encourage the natural drainage of the lymph, which carries waste products away from the tissues back toward the heart. Lymphatic massage, also called lymphatic drainage or manual lymph drainage, is a technique developed in Germany for the treatment of lymphedema, an accumulation of fluid that can occur after lymph nodes are removed during surgery.

Cranial Sacral Balancing

Cranial therapy is a form of bodywork using therapeutic touch to manipulate the synarthrodial joints of the cranium. A practitioner of cranial-sacral therapy may also apply light touches to a patient's spine and pelvis. This therapy is intended to relieve pain and tension by gentle manipulations of the skull regarded as harmonizing with a natural rhythm in the central nervous system.
